Best Value For Money Dog Boarding Kennels In Belfast Area.

I moved recently to Belfast and searched for a kennel which gives excellent service, first class facilities and value for money. Most kennels in and around the greater Belfast area, especially in the County Down area charge extortionate prices for 2 dogs sharing or a single dog. I have 2 large dogs and by using A1 Boarding Kennels I am saving over £10 per day compared to Kennels near Holywood for example. So it is worth the 25 minute journey from Belfast to A1 Boarding Kennels to get the best service, value for money, and most importantly, happy healthy dogs when you return. Can't be Beaten.

After losing 1 of the 2 labs I had in September 09, I was anxious about leaving the remaining one in a kennel on her own. Unhappy with the previous kennels I had been using, I looked and found A1 kennels just outside Doagh Co Antrim. I was able to bring my dog up and meet Nigel and have a look around with my dog Amber, to make sure I was happy before I booked her in. My 1st booking was over New Years eve 2009 and the service was excellent. I then left Amber for a second time to go away for 2 weeks in April (my flights were delayed for 10 days) and A1 Kennels had no problem accomodating me in keeping her for extra time: Another great advantage is you can keep in touch with A1 kennels by text message while you are away! Being newly constructed the kennels are very nice and clean unlike other kennels and do not smell! Also with under heated bedding and excellent space for the dog to move about. What i particularly like about using A1 is the fact they are a small family run business and only take in a limited number of dogs meaning Amber got a lot of attention and walks. Nigel and his wife Barbara are very friendly and are obviously animal lovers themselves. They have alot of time for customers when they are dropping off and picking up their dog and understand that pet owners can get upset, unlike the previous boarding kennels i used. I would highly reccomend A1 Kennels to anyone who like me is worried about leaving their pet, as I am confident my dog was looked after very well. I picked her up this morning and she was not distressed or agitated at all-opposite actually I think she would have moved in there! A1 by name-1st class by service.

I just wanted to thank-you for looking after Charlie,Bailie,Milo and Sid so well.They can,t wait for their next visit.Leaving them at a kennel is extremely difficult so I am so glad to have found you.I know how happy they are when they are with you...I was devastated at how unexcited they appeared when I came to collect them...but at least it shows they didnt miss me.I love that they get so much exercise when they are there as well...being cocker spaniels it is almost impossible to exercise them enough...but the exercise area you have there is fantastic,especially as they get to hang out with other dogs.Finding you almost makes it easy to go on holidays.
